The McGarity's visit

The McGaritys came in from San Antonio to celebrate Jeramy's birthday. Sean even cooked us breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning! Well, we actually made a deal with Sean a few years ago.... if he makes us breakfast, we will clean the kitchen afterwards and room and board are free of charge! haha! Really, Sean makes some MEAN homemade waffles! On Saturday afternoon we went to the local put-put golf and played a round. I believe that Justin and Sean were the leading scores and of course, I was last! It was a beautiful afternoon and Eli enjoyed the sunshine. Sean and Justin played airplane with Eli
Justin has grown sooo big and has a wonderful smile

Justin found a seat on Mr Jeramy

4 month doc appt

Eli went to see Dr. Vadala for his 4 month check up and shots. He checked out great and weighs 14lbs, 13oz and is 24 3/4 inches long. I weighed Eli last week on our home scale (me by myself, then the two of us) and guess I made a mathematical error. I thought he weighed 16lbs.... oops! And to think I am a math teacher! oh no! I was way off!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Happy 32nd birthday, Daddy! Jeramy celebrated his birthday on Groundhogs Day!

Grams and Nappin'

Grams came home with us after the camping trip since Mommy was sick with the flu. Eli became very picky about his sleeping arrangement. He wanted to be held or sleeping up against her... otherwise, he was screaming his head off! Grams rescued us while Mommy rested and tried to get well.
Eli slept on the couch with Grams...

When all else failed... Miss Willow, his kitty, snuggled him in his bed
He also snuggled his glow worm and his luvee frog

Eli's First Camping Trip

Eli had a great first camping trip. We went to Hunstville State Park with Grams, Pop, Uncle Jamie, Uncle Michael, and Aunt Tracy. It was a "new camper" trial weekend close to home since we were taking out our new camper as well as Michael and Tracy camping in their new Coleman E1 pop-up camper. All went well except the fact that mommy came down with the flu!

More Seuss! Thank you Nanna and Pops! We LOVE it!

New Daycare!

Eli started a new daycare this week. He is still near my school and is doing great. He seems to be adjusting to all the new noises and even has made a new friend. There is another little boy who is 1 month younger than him and the two swing together, hang out in the bumbo chair, and do tummy time together. The daycare has commented how well he does at tummy time. He really enjoys tummy time and watching everyone around him.

Hangin' out

Here is Eli's St. Patricks Day outfit.
He is checking it out and telling his Daddy all about itSurfin' on the tummy mat
I think he is starting to look like me when I was a baby.
This picture looks like a photo of me when I was his age.

Eli found his shoes. He kept staring at them and trying to reach for them.

Getting Ready for Camping!

Our first camping trip is this coming weekend! We have been getting everything together so that our camper is fully equipped! Hopefully the weather turns out beautiful!
