MawMaw's house is packed on Christmas morning. Logan and family comes in from South Carolina, Luke and family from
Kerville, Debra and family form La Grange, and the rest of us close to Magnolia, such as from the Woodlands and Spring.
We have a tradition of only one gift opened at a time... so everyone can see what everyone receives. It doesn't always work out but for the most part, it does.
Another tradition (that is sort of new) is if you give someone a gift card, you must present it with a homemade gift.
Jer drew Uncle Joe's name so he crated a "UPS... what can brown do for you" Santa. Joe works for UPS, loves beer, and shops at Luke's Locker. So
Jeramy's presentation was a Santa with a beer in one hand and a gift card with a sign "what can brown do for you this Christmas" under the other. Here is Joe inspecting his Santa. I think he was a bit disappointed that the can was empty!

Another tradition is that everyone.. I mean everyone... gets new
PJs every year for Christmas Eve. Since we were not there, we didn't get ours until
CMas Morning. All the guys received Smurf
PJ pants and since
Jer has told them he wont wear them, this is what he received!

After all the gift opening at
MawMaw's, we went to
Nanna's to open more gifts! Eli slept through it on the couch... It was too much for him to handle.
What a day! There was a total of 32 people at
MawMaw's this year... it was
definitely a very Merry Christmas!
Jer even tried getting in there with him and he was not happy. On top of not being too sure of it, he was in dire need of a nap.
