Eli turned 2!

Eli celebrated his 2nd birthday with many family and friends at The Little Gym! He has such a blast running, crawling, jumping, tumbling, and balancing with everyone! It was a wonderful party and Momma and Daddy loved it that we were able to enjoy the party and guests without the fuss! Hudson took a dive on the mats! Wild Man!
Alicia, Raveena, and Dylan joined in on the fun!
All the friends introducing themselves....
parachute time!
Eli was a super cute birthday boy! I cannot believe that he is 2! Time flies!
Sara and Brayden having some fun on the mats and steps!
Chelette was a brave momma and brought along Charleigh at 2 weeks old for us to see and to celebrate with!
Gretchen and London were two beautiful ladies at the party! I love London's cheeks!!
Whitney and Davis exploring the gym....
The biggest hit.... the air track!
James was wonderful and brave on the balance beam!
Dawson and Maddie ran all over the gym with huge smiles!
Miller and Dylan loved the cupcakes!
Gavin was super cute!
Eli was adorable when he blew out the candles! Jer and I were at his side so we didn't get a picture. He huffed and puffed to get those candles out though!
Jaden and Maddie attacked their cupcakes after their workout in the gym!
It was a perfect party! Eli had 17 friends that were 3yrs old and under attend! He had such a blast and by the look on his face, he felt special. When we loaded in the car, he looked at me and smiled the sweetest smile. His eyes were lit with joy and he knew that he was one special little man to so many.... Happy Birthday my precious Eli. We love you so much!

Time with Pa

We had Eli's 2nd birthday party on Sept 25th and Grams brought Pa from Waco for the celebration! Earlier in the day, Pa and Grams came by to spend some time with the boys.

Grams gave Eli a sneak peek gift... "Follow That Bird" DVD! Eli loved it! Look close... Eli is smiling back at Pa... he is so happy Pa is here!

Eli is so tired here... but he is loving the visit and the movie!

Eli shared a special moment with Pa. This is what we call "Smooch in a box". He brings the box to you and you get inside for a smooch!
Pa puckered up! Eli has to get in the box with him now!
Then Eli showed Pa that this box is not only used for smooches and storage of the toys, but to also play the drums on!Aiden showed off his new skills of crawling! He sort of does the bear crawl, but then one knee hits the ground, while the other he uses the foot to push off on!
Later that day was THE PARTY!

Speak Up for Kids

Jer and I had another date in the month of September! Wow! Two in a row! We had Nanna come over on Friday night and stay so that early the next morning, Jer and I could go "run" a 5K! Really--We walked half... jogged half....
We did it for CASA (Court Appointed Support Advocates). It is an organization for kids in the system to have someone speak up for them in the courtroom. The advocate helps the court decide what is best for the child. They help decide if the foster home is best for the child or if they need to be removed or go back to their parents. Lord knows there are people out there who have kids for all the wrong reasons or who don't really care for the child. And sometimes a child needs someone to speak up for them when family cant or wont or if the kid is afraid to. I would love to be a person in the organization... but with the two boys, I am booked up! Maybe when they are older...
This was an awesome experience with Jer. We both were so out of shape but pulled each other through when we wanted to stop. Jer is not a runner and I use to be... before kids! This run was refreshing for our relationship because we got to talk all morning and hang out ... just the two of us on the trail.
I look forward to many more runs in life with my man!

It's Football Season!

It's football season! Jer got us tickets for the Season Kickoff game of Texas vs Colts. We invited the Beebe's to come along with us. This was our first "date" since Aiden arrived... it was fun!

We did watch the game... but Abby and I watched the cheerleaders too. They really mess up a lot! They are definitely not Cowboy Cheerleaders! It seemed that with every group that came by, there was one who seemed to be off on her timing. It really "erked" us when an arm was flying up in the air after the others....

Jer and Jarrett sat beside each other. We laughed that neither couple had a spouse next to their own. Abby was next to Jeramy.... I was on the end... getting beer spilled all over me from the idiots behind me. They were really sloshed!
oh... and I caught Abby red handed again! She ordered a Sprite to drink and I said "What? No beer?? Are you preggo?" and yep she is!! She just found out the night before and is now far enough into the pregnancy that I can shout "Yeah" on my blog for them! I caught her with her first (Morgan) when she ordered Sprite then, too....this will be Baby Beebe No. 3!!

This was so funny... we looked down the isle and there were these 2 kids mesmerized by the Texans Cheerleader calendar that their dad got them! They spent almost and hour checking it out! Will that soon be Eli and Aiden???

Well I kept my eye on Manning....love those football butts!

Jarrett watched his Fantasy Football League on his phone and Facebook, of course....

Jer made a funny remark about the cheerleader on the far left... holding the H and O sign...

"I guess we now know who the 'ho' is"...

again... I kept my eye on Manning ....

Well it was a great day for a double date!

Who cares that I didn't get to sit next to Jeramy?! I had a blast getting out and being a "girl" and not in "mom mode". I even had a beer! They made fun of me because I told the lady "I want a beer" and not a specific one.. she looked at me like "okay lady... which one?" Then Jeramy popped off..."sorry, she has been pregnant for too long and just wants ANY beer!"

We all laughed... and he was right! I was preggo for 9 months, had a baby who never slept thru the night until he was 15 months old, then was preggo again... here I am again, with another babe who doesn't sleep thru the night... cant afford to drink a beer, I might pass out asleep!

By the way... Texans won...34 to 24!

Time with Calvin

Labor Day weekend, Asher and Calvin came to visit at Nanna's house!
Logan and Jess finally moved back to Texas from South Carolina in August so we now get to spend more time with the boys and get to know them.
Calvin is 9 days younger than Aiden, yet bigger!
Both boys have red hair and blue eyes..... too cute!

They were really enjoying playing together and crawling all over one another!
Asher shared some of his cars with the little ones... very nice of a 2 year old to share!

Aiden met Grandma Lucas and napped in her arms.
Eli really loves his Uncle Adam. He has always had a special bond with Uncle Adam.... two cute boys who both mean an awful lot to Mommy!
Eli loves the horsey and Nanna's! He smiles and says "cheese!" when he sees a camera pointed in his direction!
well crud... all those pictures of Calvin and none of Asher! I guess I was so focused on getting the new babies in the family, I missed out!
What a crazy Christmas this will be at Kitty Cat Mawmaw's! In addition to the 40 plus people and kids at Mawmaw's, there will be two 2 year olds and two 8 month olds!

Labor Day Weekend at Yogi Bear

We traveled to Waller on Labor Day weekend to hang out with the Johnstons's and their crew of friends. We were originally planning to camp with them, but our new camper wasn't in yet. We went for a day trip to hang out and had such a blast! It's a campground with a water park! Aiden spent a lot of time in the shade (as much as possible).... in the stroller or under the umbrellas! He did get in the water and was not fond of the cool temperature. It was super hot out, and he still was not happy!
It's hard to believe that this little girl was our flowergirl at our wedding... she was 2...goodness!
Time flies and they grow too fast!
Eli and Daddy went down the waterslides ALL day long!!
Do you see my toddler Eli?? I don't!!!
That is because his Daddy took him through a deep waterslide and almost drowned him!! Look at his face! He did get out and run to me for comfort.... shame on you, Daddy!!
Aiden enjoyed a nap in the shade after a lot of people watching!
The moment that Eli had earlier did not cause fear for the rest of the day... he went right back to sliding down the waterslides!
Another moment of "Wow" for me... I cannot believe how big these girls are getting. I use to babysit them and snuggle them up! They are still my babies no matter how big...
Eli, Daddy, and "Uncle" Jeff are about to go down the waterslides!

Aiden loves his "Aunt Tewy" (Tiff)
Aiden was also in love with Tiff's friend, Jamie. She and Aiden were a hoot to watch together!

We had such a blast at Yogi Bear! We plan to book a weekend there next summer. It is great for families and groups of friends to camp and hang out in the Texas heat! I know my boys loved it and I cannot wait to return next summer with them running around!
