Eli is a flirt.... simple as that! The morning of June 8th, Jeramy and Eli headed out of the condo and went to the game room at the resort so Aiden and Mommy could sleep in. Apparently, these two girls were playing skeeball on opposite ends of each other. The only one available for Eli was the one in the middle. Jeramy said he refused. He somehow managed to play with this brunette instead. Well... the boy has taste.. she was cute! haha!
After spending some time with the ladies, he rode the motorcycle game...
Our original plan was to head to SeaWorld that morning (Tuesday). We decided not to because we had been going and going since we got there and Eli and Aiden had melt downs the night before. We were in Gruene at the Gristmill for our anniversary dinner and Eli threw fits, and Aiden wouldn't stop fussing. In the end, my dinner was never touched, packed in a to-go box, and I ate it on the couch at the condo at 10pm-- after the boys went to bed. Really romantic, eh? Well, we decided to take it easy the rest of the trip....
So on Tuesday morning, we took a ride along River Road in New Braunfels....
This really bugged me. They are constructing these "treetop cabins" along the river. I made several comments that I didn't understand why they had to be so high and ruin the night sky view. The next morning I understood...flash floods came through on Tuesday night and pretty much wiped out the homes on the river. Campers, tents, motor homes, cars, buses, and people, were washed downstream in a matter of minutes from the flood. It was devastating. When I saw the news Wednesday morning, I pretty much saw the treetop cabin and water just below... nothing else... safety... that is why they build these cabins.
After our drive along River Road, we stopped by the McGarity's. We met Cooper for the first time! He and Aiden at 9 days apart! He is a whopper!
