My first fort!

Daddy hooked Eli up with a big 'ol fort! Aiden's dresser came in this week so Daddy kept the box and carved out windows and a doorway for Eli.
Eli was super excited this morning when Daddy brought it inside.... Whoa!!

This is so much fun!
so cute....
A precious Son and Daddy moment....they both had great big smiles on their faces...

It's those little things....

that make life grand....
We went to Grams house the weekend after Daddy's birthday for a lunch of shrimp and dirty rice... yum yum!
Thank you Uncle Vern and Papa James!
It was Jeramy's birthday lunch request and we were all happy campers for it!
Eli was so much fun to watch because it was the little things that amazed him.
Here, Eli and Peggy watch a sun catcher twirl... and there it is... Eli's "whoa!"
And nothing beats a "man chair", pillow, and a remote to the TV...

IT'Z a great day to celebrate!

Jeramy turned 33 on February 2nd!
(Happy Birthday, Daddy!)
We arranged to meet up with friends at IT'Z Houston for lunch on Sunday Jan 31st. It was our first time to go there and will not be our last! This place was great for kids and adults. Pizza, arcades, train ride, roller coaster like rides, bowling, bumper cars, it was great!Thank you to all the friends who came out for the day! It was great to see everyone!

Jeramy and Tiffany

I have a video of them screaming and laughing... It was fun to watch them. I would load it to the blog, but its a minute long and would take forever to load...
Momma, Eli, Jaden, and Chelette
Eli and Daddy on the train
Eli's favorite was the race car game. He loved turning the wheel and shifting gears... watch out Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart! Here comes Eli Moffitt!
Jaden was a huge fan of the race car ride too!
This pic was too cute not to post... Eli;s face is like he is telling Jaden "come on, lets race!"
Happy Birthday Jeramy!
We hope you had a great day!
We love you!

Rock Star

Eli found his star sunglasses and thinks he is so cool when he has them on.
He dances and runs all around showing off! These pics are from the week he was home with Grams while having a double ear infection and touch of pneumonia. Needless to say.... he was feeling really good this evening.
He wanted Willow to try on the cool shades as well.
She refused... and he still thought it was funny.

Eli still plays with those glasses... they haven't gotten old to him yet. All we have to say is "where are your rock star glasses?" and he searches and put them on. Then he puts on a show for us! He is such a hoot!

I want to eat it like a big boy!!

Since Eli started in the one year old room at daycare, he has become more independent. He sits at a table in a chair... not strapped in! I was afraid he would tumble out of the chair in the mornings, but of course it is only a foot and a half or so off of the floor... he hasn't tumbled over.
He has been eating cereal and milk in a bowl once a week all by himself. I have noticed some language development and other things that make me say "wow, he is growing up".
One day after school, he wanted a banana. "Getit" he said... yes, all one word but meaning, "get it" as he pointed to the banana on the counter. He threw a fit when I started to cut off a piece and grabbed the whole thing. One big bite after another.... Eli enjoyed his banana.... eating it like a big boy.
sooooooooo yummy!

Momma Love

Eli is such a "momma's boy".....and I am okay with that!
He is a big sweetheart and it is so hard to keep from smooching on him! Every chance I get, I go in for a smooch. Luckily, sometime in the month of January, he decided it was okay to give you kisses back.
These pics are terrible of Momma, but capture a precious moment of us snuggling and playing...
I love you Eli!

Big Boy Haircut

Eli is no longer "shaggy"..... one Saturday (early January), Daddy and Momma took Eli for a haircut. I was wanting a trim and Daddy wanted to try a short hair style. His curls were great when he got out of the tub and it dried, but once he laid down for nap or bed, it was flat.... needless to say, he was in need of a cut. Well, Eli did not enjoy this as much as his first haircut because we were in the middle of nap time. We had a fun filled morning of breakfast at IHOP and then shopping at BabiesRUs beforehand.
Eli's hair turned out cute and made him look like a big boy.
of course... big boy with a bottle!

Where did January go??

It seems that time is flying so fast! The month of January was pretty uneventful overall, yet very eventful that it flew by so fast. We must have been super busy because I can't really say much about the month except these updates.....

Eli was sick quite a bit this January. We went back to school on January 4th and Eli to daycare. That week was his "trial" week in the one year old room. He did well. However, by the weekend, he was sick. Friday night, Eli spent a couple hours with Grams while Jer and I went to dinner as a couple... it was fun yet we both missed our little man! Then we were all in bed by 9pm... we had a rough week back to school/daycare going full speed. Around 9:45pm, Eli woke up crying and when I picked him up from his bed, he threw up all over us! Needless to say, that was the beginning of his sickly month. Grams came to stay with him that week because he threw up and ran fever all weekend...by Tuesday, he went to the doctor and was diagnosed with double ear infection and touch of pneumonia. After a week off, he went back to daycare and joined the one year old room. He has done really well adjusting except he is missing his naps. They only have one big nap and he wants/needs 2 big ones. It is a work in progress. Eli's first weeks in the one year old room had some events... bee sting while outside, pink eye, and then again last week he had double ear infection again!! Poor baby! He is scheduled to see an ENT at the end of February to see about tubes in his ears.

Jeramy had a pretty busy month with work. It seems that he is the number one estimator in the office... they pile on more and more and he seems to do a great job at it. There have been some projects that had his name requested to do the estimating. He has really showed to be a wonderful Daddy and my heart melts every time I see he and Eli together.

Baby Aiden is growing fast. I have gone from barely wearing maternity clothes in December to full-fledged maternity gear. At 29 weeks and 5 days (Jan 28), I have gained a total of 4 pounds during the pregnancy and no signs of trouble with blood pressure. Both Aiden and I measure about 5 days ahead of schedule. On the 28th, I had an ultrasound to see if all is going well since the low weight gain, and all was wonderful. Aiden weighs approximately 3 lbs, 11 to 15 oz... YIKES! I am a little panicked because Eli weighed 6 lbs, 12oz at 37 weeks/birth. Baby Aiden is already sneaking up there and we are barely 30 weeks! I am now going to the doctor/OB every 2 weeks and at 36 weeks, I will go weekly.

School has kept Momma (me) busy. I am trying to prepare for maternity leave, TAKS testing for the kids, and Aiden's arrival, as well as trying to get and keep little Eli well. I can't believe how fast this school year has gone by. It all has gone too fast!
