What is he wearing??!!

I picked up Eli from daycare on January 7th and this is what I saw.....
he was wearing a Longhorn shirt! AH!!!!
It was the day of the UT bowl game against Alabama.
Eli wears a lot of Aggie clothes to daycare and one of the teachers in his room is a huge UT fan. She decided that this one day Eli could sport her team.
I laughed and said "what is that?!" when I saw him...
however, Jer didn't think it was as funny as I did.
He let Eli sport it for the evening since I wanted pics.
But now it is forever in the dresser drawer (according to Jer).
Actually, he has worn it 2 more times since then... bedtime t-shirt and once for play day at home.

Hill Country Christmas

We traveled to the McGarity's on New Years Day.
It was great to see them and to see Jen's baby bump belly!
Jen and I are both due in April.
We are 4 days apart and both of us are having boys.
Eli enjoyed Momma riding in the back seat with him on the way to Canyon Lake.

He was really fascinated in their Christmas tree.
He spent a lot of time exploring the ornaments and playing with Justin.

On Saturday, January 2, we went to Schlitterbaun's Hill Country Christmas. It was fantastic! There were so many Christmas lights and activities for all ages. They had sledding, ice skating, story time with Mrs. Clause, moonwalks, merry-go-rounds, and more!
We are definitely planning to do it again next year with our boys!
For those of you who have been to Schlitterbaun, you recognize this pool area... they made it into a hot tub for the season. No... we did not get in...
They had some awesome light shows.
This one was set to music and changed colors, scenes.... it was amazing!

Terrie, Jenn, Eli, Justin, and Jer watching the show.
Sean was somewhere in the back... not in the pic
Momma and Eli
The McGarity's
lights were strung up everywhere!
Eli's first time on a merry-go-round. He loved it!
Look close... there is a little girl in pink and he is just behind her. I was holding him onto the horse. He was bouncing up and down like it was galloping!
Eli was ready to run to the next thing... wanting to see what else they had in store for him to explore!
Eli is such a great boy. He is so easy going and fun to watch.
I am thankful for my little precious man....
more lights and views....
Justin striking a pose!
This was a really cool play land area.
It had lights everywhere and slides and places for kids to play.
This is a castle area that was lit up.
Eli loves to slide!
We had such a good time. Thank you, McGarity's for joining us on this adventure and having us over for the weekend!

Happy 2010!!

We rang in the new year with our neighbors down the street. Actually, we left around 11pm and were home and in bed by 11:40. We were pooped.
This household doesn't normally stay up past 10pm!
It was pretty cold outside so Eli kept warm by having a bottle of warm milk... yum yum!
Eli and Mommy
The neighbors were shaking their tails! There was a DJ and moonwalk to keep everyone happy.
The blond with her arm in the air is Pam... she hosts the party every year.
Thank you, Pam and Steve for such a great party and great friends to ring in the new year with!
Eli loves his Courtney. She has two cute little boys herself!

This video is hilarious! Clayton is the DJ and a neighbor down the street. Apparently he knows all the moves to MC Hammers "Hammer Time"

And this video is where the kids join in....

Now that everyone is gone....

I can play with my Grams...
As soon as Michael, Tracy, Dave, and Dawson left to go home, Eli was ready for his "Grams Time"
Papa James gave Eli some (non-alcoholic) egg nog. Eli loved the sweet taste.
milk-stache...
We all got in our PJs and snuggled in and played.... the boys watched a football game on TV
Jer tried on Momma's new boots...sexy....
Eli tried on Daddy's old boots...
Grams said all 3 of her boys wore these...they are well used and broken in!
Cowboy Eli
I love this pic because it really captured his baby blue eyes...
Eli played mailbox with Grams
he is so fascinated with cell phones....Here he is with Papa James...bringing him some goodies
Then Eli decided it was time for him to try on Momma's new boots...
Eli ended the night playing horsey with Grams and Jamie
Eli's super cute face .... "I'm coming up for the horsey ride"
giggling because he was almost bucked off of Grams
playing horsey with Jamie
Eli had a wonderful Christmas... we all did.
It was wonderful spending time with all the family on both sides and not being in a rush.

After all the gifts....

After all the gifts were open, the tots were ready to play outside. Eli played on the toddler moon walk that Michael and Tracy brought. He was not thrilled to be in the bounce house...
Jer even tried getting in there with him and he was not happy. On top of not being too sure of it, he was in dire need of a nap.
Dave and Dawson came over to play. Dawson is a couple weeks older than Eli.
all the tots on the swing...
Jer then initiated a "sword fight" with the tubes from the gift wrapping paper....
Dave pounced on Jer to join the fun!
This picture cracks me up! Look at Jer's face as he is coming to attack Michael!
All the Moffitt boys in on the sword fight....
Dave and Dawson
Eli loved playing with Grams' wind chimes
