New Momma In Town...

I decided that it was time for a new "do".... a new hair do that is.
I was once the girl who came home from college every time with a new color or cut. I have been red, orange red, caramel, dark brown, multi color, blonde, and platinum. Most colors of the color wand at the salons, I have been...all but black and silver! However, those "silver or white" hairs are attacking my noggin more and more every day! I found my first gray hair when I was 21! Ouch! I know I am doomed for gray by the looks of my family...but doggone it! I am gonna deny it as much as possible and color it out!
Well, Grams and Uncle Jamie came in for a couple days to see the boys and to let me go to my endocrinologist in peace and get a color/cut. (THANK YOU!) My hair was in much need of an overhaul..... my hairstylist laughed and yelled "oh my!" when I pulled my hair from my clip and showed her my roots! I haven't been to her since Aiden was 2 weeks old...He is reaching 12 weeks.
I have had the same cut and color for a year now. It was time for me to make a change. I wonder... was I getting the same color and cut because it was comfortable? Or am I losing the "Terrie" I use to be? Like I said, I was the girl that my family never knew what color hair or length of hair I would be sporting.... heck, I even did the Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks look one summer, I once teased Jer that he got a new wife every so often when I went to the salon.
As of today... a new Momma is in town!
I am not going to lose myself again in being the Mommy of two who needs a new style, the teacher look, or the boring ol Jeramy's wife! I don't want my boys to say "Mom has the same hair style that she had when I was a kid....so outdated!" I am going to try my best (and our pocket books best) to keep it interesting! I have gone shopping for new duds (clothes), a pedicure with bright pink toes, and a funky hair style and color.
Sometimes a girls gotta mix it up a little!

whatchya think??????

Giggles!

Tonight I heard the cutest thing!
Aiden giggled!
He is all smiles when we change his diaper...loves the feeling of fresh underpants! Tonight after I changed him, I went to tickle him near his chin (like I always do) and instead of the normal big smile, I got a "hehe"! I was a little freaked out and thought I misheard him so I did it again.... HE GIGGLED again! Oh, I love it!! Even though he is my 2nd child, I am enjoying his "firsts" just as much! Soon after our giggle and snuggle time, he went to bed. I cant wait until tomorrow! I want to hear more!

This little man has really stole my heart. I was so afraid of not loving him enough or as much as Eli. I feared that I couldn't...but this little guy has so much love pouring out of my heart for him too! Just as everyone told me.... you will love him too...there will be enough love for him. Well, they were right! He is one special baby boy.

Today we (Aiden and Mommy) went on a "date" together to a baby shower. He was wonderful there. The ladies loved him and several asked to hold him (and did)....I share my boys well. I want everyone to feel the love and see the special soul my boys have. I have been so blessed to have them. They both have so much happiness inside and love for everyone.

Aiden's first giggle.... @ 11 weeks and 5 days old!

McGarity's and Soccer

Jenn and the boys arrived at our house Friday night. Wow! Cooper has grown!
He is at least 15 pounds at 10 weeks old! He is super sweet too!
What fun our boys will have growing up together! That is one super duper cute Cooper smile!
He is wearing the 6-12 month onesie that I got for his "welcome baby" gift...wow!!
Justin joined the boys on the floor for a pic!
Then Eli decided it was his turn to join the boys....
Saturday morning we went to Eli's Soccer Tots. He did really well this week. It seems that he is remembering what to do and how to do some of the stuff....but his attention span is very short!
Go Eli!
Score!
Cone Hat time!
Aiden posing for the Heisman Award...
kicking over the cones... one is his favorites!
Justin sporting his new Big Brother shirt we got him....
Eli and his new Soccer Tots shirt....so proud of my little man... he is growing so fast!

Moments...

I love these moments... the moments where Eli cant keep himself from snuggling Aiden. At least 10 times a day, Eli asks to hold Bubby.... "momma...Bubby?..." and he holds his arms out. so happy....
But then Eli gets a glimpse of his cartoons on TV....
I believe it was the Imagination Movers... Eli loves to dance...
and he forgets all about Aiden ...he claps and dances!

Tyler's All Star Game

Last Monday we went to cheer on Tyler at his first All Star game in Magnolia.
They lost the game, but Tyler played very well! Tyler played catcher...
His parents, Luke and Brooke, cheering him on....
Luke being a dork....
Tyler
Aiden hung out with Pops
Eli wasn't wanting to watch the game... he wanted "nack nack" meaning he wanted a snack. He had Nanna wait in a LONG line for popcorn and a snow cone....

Father's Day 2010

Happy Father's Day!
We spent the day at Nanna's house...Aiden spent some snuggle and TV time with Daddy... Aiden also snuggled with Pops!
Uncle Logan had his new baby boy, Calvin to snuggle with!
Calvin is a few (I think 5) days younger than Aiden...another busy and baby crazy Christmas!
Nanna had these "treats" for the kids to make for their dads... "lawn mower cookies"!
The grass was coconut, chocolate mower, and licorice handle! Very creative, Nanna! I am proud!
After a while, Eli went out to play.... he LOVES balls!
Eli loves his Nanna!
one hot, sweaty, and cute little boy!
Nanna saw a bird fly into this Sago Palm... she found a nest... check out Eli bending over searching for the birds!
3 baby birds!
Tyler and his cousin, Asher.....
Asher and Eli checked out Will's gecko...

Nanna and her toddler "Big Bro's" grandbabies...
Happy Father's Day!
I am very thankful for my "Dad".... aka Uncle David!
anyone can be a father... it takes someone special to be a dad!
Jeramy... you are a wonderful dad to our boys.... I know I don't tell you that enough.... thank you for being so wonderful and loving them with all of your heart and soul!

Father's Day Dinner Outing....

We attempted a Father's Day dinner outing for Jeramy.... didn't go so well. Jer wanted to have dinner on Saturday night before Father's Day at Rainforest Cafe in Katy. Eli was afraid of the moving and noise making gorillas, leopards, elephants, and thunderstorms. When our meal arrived, I had Eli in my lap as well as Aiden....and let Jer somewhat eat and enjoy his meal for a bit. In the end, Eli and Momma's meals were packed in a to-go box and we ate at the Katy Mills Mall Food Court! Even Aiden was scared and crying! His eyes were bugged out every time the lights flashed for the "thunder and lightning" show every 30 minutes. Needless to say.... another strip to The Rainforest Cafe will be on hold for a few years!

I am sorry Jer! Maybe next year will be better!

Just like Momma

When Aiden smiles... he shows the world how happy he is....Pretty similar to his Momma's baby picture of her smiling!

I think Aiden is looking more like me!

If I Could Bottle It Up....

These boys have so much energy! I wish I could bottle it up!
The two had a great time last Wednesday...we started out at the Woodlands Waterway...it was too hot! So we ended up going to the house to burn off some energy!
Eli and Jaden...

After lunch and playing in the sandbox, we headed upstairs to the play area...
Can you tell they are having a blast?!
By the way... this is all taking place in Aiden's bedroom!
Balls were flying and some ended up in Aidens bed with him!
He was not happy!
still going at it....

Aiden had enough!
He wanted them to get out of his room!
I sent them to the playroom...
and the toys were everywhere!
Loving the slide...
They both worked on fixing the potty! This is not used!
Eli just keeps pulling it out of his closet...
He likes to take it apart and put it back together.....
Jadens turn.....
