Back In Session

Well, school is back in session! The first day of school was last Monday, Aug 23rd. I have a pretty good class with a couple of rowdy boys! Nothin' I cant handle though!

Eli and Aiden have advanced so much in the past few weeks. We have been pretty busy and I have some pics to update.....coming soon!

Eli attended his girlfriend, Sara's, 2nd birthday party. The two of them are still in love! I can't wait to share some of the pics from the party with you. Eli was super popular with his hat... everyone commented how adorable and handsome he was. Another couple were expecting a baby and didn't know the gender yet, but said if it was a boy, they will name him Eli because my little Eli was "perfect"! What a compliment!

Aiden is moving all over the place... rolling! He started getting on all fours last week and daycare thinks he will be crawling in 2 weeks....WOW! Slow down, mister! He also has had a nasty little cold and I am taking him to the doctor today to see if we can get some meds or make sure all is okay. He has the most sweetest giggle and biggest smile. When he smiles and laughs, the whole world is bright. His eyes, his cheeks, and his "Kraemer" dimples beam when he is happy. He definitely knows how to make our day! He has stolen his parents heart once again!

Jeramy is working his tail off as usual and being a wonderful Daddy. He and Aiden have really started bonding as Jer loves this stage as much as I do.

Well, more later! I just wanted to let the world know that we are still alive in blog world!

Last Summer Playdate

It was a busy weekend. On Sunday, after our day trip to Waco, Eli had a playdate with Maddie. The two played hard, fought hard, and loved hard. Penny and I decided that we needed margarita's for the next play date! These two fought over toys, pushed and shoved, and hugged each other over and over. It was wearing us out! I actually love watching the dynamics of the two at work..... they keep me on my toes!
Penny, Maddie, and Colton left around lunch time.
I planned on getting Eli his lunch and then sending him to bed for his nap....
he had another idea....

He fell asleep in his highchair!
Sign of a good play date!

A Trip to Waco

We took a day trip to Waco on August 7th to meet the newest member of the family....
Gavin Michael Maler
He was super sweet and looks so much like his daddy!
The whole way to Waco, Eli read a book or watched a movie on his DVD player. He has really gotten into watching movies in the car. We typically save this for long trips so it seems to be "new and cool" with him. He loves Mickey Mouse Club House and Cars.

Pa was really excited to see the boys and see how much Aiden has grown since our last visit.

love this pic of the two of them...
Uncle Jamie entertained Aiden while hanging with Pa.
Pa had a new kitten and Eli loved playing "fish" with it!

here fishy fishy... kitty kitty!
Eli's little friend...
Eli and Aiden had a blast playing cars with Grams and peek-a-boo with Uncle Jamie.
Cousin Amie played with Aiden and got some snuggle time.
Aiden caught some zzz's!
It doesn't matter where he is, if he is tired, he is out!!

It was a wonderful trip seeing the Waco family and meeting Baby Gavin.

He is super sweet and makes a wonderful addition to the bunch!

More special moments captured....

Here are my final faves... There were so many good and precious moments captured, we are having a really hard time figuring out which to print. Just the same, I had a hard time figuring out which to post on the blog and share. Eli is such a handsome little man....inside and out.

Just the two of us....

Melissa captured the short but sweet moments of us. It doesn't happen very often that we are alone together without the boys. At the end of the photo shoot, Aiden was asleep back at the lakehouse and Eli was on the sidelines watching.
Even the small moments I get with Jeramy are a blessing. He really energizes my soul and makes my heart skip a beat every time. I waited for so long to find him... and it was all worth it. I found my prince......my happy ever after. I love you, Jeramy Jon!

Family Pictures 2010

We had a family photo session with a fabulous photographer from Dallas, in July. She came in to visit her family (her dad and Jer are coworkers) so we joined the group for a day and ended with a shoot! She is super affordable and lets you do what you need to do with the babes to get that "perfect" look!
We started taking pics around 6:45pm and it was still super scorching hot! Jer and I were wiping our faces between each picture to get some of the sweat off! The boys did okay...but didnt last long as we planned. They are just like us, hate to be hot!

one of my faves....
precious Aiden... what a sweet little face!
Eli kissing his bubby....

another one of my favorites!
Melissa catches all those precious moments... like Eli and Mommy playing together.

Happy 4 month Birthday, Aiden!

Aiden turned 4 months old on Friday!
I took him to his check up with Dr. Vadala and here are his stats:
Weight: 14 pounds, 8.6 oz. (75th percentile)
Height: 26 inches (75th percentile)
Aiden is already wearing 6 month clothes...especially in footed pajamas. He is slender and long.
Since his two month appointment, he has gained over 3 pounds and grew 2 inches!
I want my little man to slow it down a little! He's growing way too fast!

Back to Daycare

The boys started daycare this past Monday (Aug 2). It was rough for both Mommy and Eli. Of course, Aiden was fine! I was super upset because it meant that my lazy days with the boys were over for a while and that I was going to miss the milestones and daily fun with them.
Monday was the roughest day ever. When I dropped off the boys, we went to take Aiden to his classroom first. Eli was already attached to my leg. I could see the fear in his eyes and his heart melting already. Aiden was all smiles and was just as happy as could be. Seeing that, made me feel a little better. THEN I took Eli to the 2 year old room, where he would be. The teachers were great at introducing him to the others but he was not having it. I went in with him for a bit and then had to peel him off of me. Long story short... he cried all day... yep....ALL DAY!
They didn't call me because they knew it was an adjustment for him. They waited until the next day to tell me how bad it really was. He refused to nap, kept looking around for me, and cried for mommy all day long. When I went to pick him up, he ran straight out of the room! He was hightailing it to his house and not coming back!
When we arrived home, I went to put Aiden in the swing so I could get a snack for Eli. Then I felt something on my rear....Eli biting it! Eli bit me 3 times, threw things against the wall, banged the walls, and screamed at the top of his lungs. It was a huge release of his frustrations and fears of the day the moment we stepped in the house and lasting 30 minutes.
My heart went out to Eli this week. Going back to daycare for the first time since March... and it being a new daycare, really shocked the little guy. It was a rough week but everyday got better. Every day they have an activity or it's a special day at the daycare. On Tuesday they had "water day" so running around in a sprinkler helped him have some fun and relax. On Wednesday, he had to wear orange (sorry Jer.. he wore a UT shirt), Thursday was art day, and Friday the tots made ice cream sundaes!
Aiden did super well this week. He impressed the daycare ladies with his tummy time skills and his rolling over. They also commented on his huge smile. He has already won their hearts!
I am hoping this week will be better. I pray that Eli finds pace in me leaving him there. The ladies seem to really love having him there, and he looks like he is having fun when I come to pick him up. It's the "leaving" part that is really rough on him... and me!
What a way to start the year... stressing already!

A Day with Ryan

This past Tuesday, I took my nephew to the movies for a belated b-day outing.
We went to see It was GREAT! We saw it in 3D so it was even better!
Me and Ryan lookin' cool in our 3D shades...
After the movies and lunch we went to pick the boys up from daycare.
The boys were happy to see Ryan and have a new face to entertain them!
all smiles and giggles!
Eli was super excited to have Ryan at the house. The two boys played hard! Ryan then joined us at Little Gym to watch Eli in his class. It was a busy evening!

Eli pushed Ryan around on his Micky Mouse Train!

Aiden even got some one-on-one time with Ryan.
He was so good with the boys!
Ryan then had a friend (Michael and Tracy's niece) over to watch Twilight and New Moon. The two met earlier in the day and hit it off. They both were going into 8th grade and in the same school district. Ryan hadn't watched the series and didn't understand the hype. Wintter gave away all the details as the movie progressed!
The boys were sad when they went to daycare the next morning and had to give farewell smooches and hugs to Ryan. He will have to visit more often!
