Happy 30th Chelette

Chelette turned 30!!! We attended her birthday bash out at the Johnstons house with crawfish and beverages... you know, the good stuff! I didnt get very many pics, darn it!
NONE of the birthday princess!! crud!

Well, I did manage to get a couple of our little men in our lives... maybe that is what its all about anyways?! Who cares that you are 30? We were so dumb to have thought "you are so old when you are 30".... 30 is where life really begins... atleast for us. Chelette and I have 6 month old baby boys that make us smile... that teach us what life is truely about. These little moments with the guys (and our hubbys) make our world so wonderful.
Happy Birthday Chelette... the best is yet to come!

our boys swapped grandparent moments... Eli spent time with Jadens grandpa
Jaden snuggled with Eli's Nanna
Jaden with Eli's Nanna
Jaden opened some gifts as well-- he loves tissue paper

Dylan's 2nd Birthday

Eli and Pam
Last Saturday Eli had two birthday parties to attend. Actually the month of March is a popular birthday month for our friends... Dylan, Chelette, Chesney, and Jenn all have birthdays between March 17th-24th... Not to mention a couple others we know who have birthdays in March....

Happy Birthday Dylan! You always have such great parties! This year, Dylans birthday theme was race cars... the kids had a blast. The party had a moon walk, cars to ride (like those outside of a grocery store) Wait... do they still have those outside of the grocery stores? I am sure I will find out soon enough with Eli.

This is Olivia... one of our neighbor friends
of course the kids (and grown men) had to play pranks on the others by unplugging the moonwalk with kids inside...

this is Eli's friend, Brayden... and his Daddy Charles. Eli and Brayden are about a month apart

our friend Gavin

Bronc rider Trenton

Eli and neighbor Shameeza

Eli and one of his fave neighbors, Courtney. She is one of his favorite babysitters...(she has helped us out a couple times by watching Eli for us) thank you Court!

Family Evening at the Woodlands Waterway

Last Sunday we ended Spring Break with a family trip to the Woodlands Waterway. We have been meaning to go for a long time and never seemed to happen. Wow! What a great place! The waterway is being setup to look like the San Antonio Riverwalk-- yet on a much nicer scale... its more of a "green" riverwalk. There are hotels and restaraunts set up along it with beautiful landscaping. Here are some pics we took while at Woodlands Town Green Park. What great timing! When we arrived, there was a family hanging in the park with some bunnies. I went over and asked if we could get some shots of Eli sitting with them-- kodak moment!! Glad I had the camera!

As soon as we set Eli down in the grass with the rabbits, he reached out to pet them! Such a smart boy! (maybe having the kitties at home helps with that as well)

he was one happy little man with the rabbits...

babies and animals have such a sweet bond...

Even Daddy joined in on loving on the bunnies

Here are the boys starting the walk along the waterway

Eli loved his new umbrella stroller... much easier to take on short trips

what a nice evening...

Eli passed out... it was too comfy of a stroller and the weather was perfect

We ended up eating dinner at The Goose's Acre-- yum yum..

this was the last pic... the camera died! note to self: next time bring an extra battery!
