Happy Birthday, Eli!

Today was Eli's official first birthday. For his "Birthday Dinner", we took him to Hooters!
He had a lot of fun and enjoyed the "people watching".
Eli with the Hooters Girls.....all smiles!
Ready to celebrate!

Jason, Gretchen, and Hudson joined us for dinner...
CHEEEEESE!!!

Snack time with Daddy

Sunday afternoon, Eli and Daddy had a snack... Ritz Flips Crackers... These are Jeramy's favorite snack... and well.... apparently, Eli's too! Eli wanted to dip his cracker in his Daddy's milk to see if it's good... like milk and oreos!

yum... yum!
Jer decided he was finished with snack time... but Eli had different plans.... oops! He was trying to get into the box and uh-oh!! He dumped the box of crackers!

The "After Party"

Well, Eli's first B-Day bash was quite fun... and quite draining! We had some weekend guests and all were "pooped" at the end of the day. On Saturday, Eli and I attended Sidney's first birthday party at 4pm and then went to dinner with everyone at home. By 9pm, we were all in PJs and trying our best to stay awake (as you can see, Sean failed at that!) and catch up on chit-chat. The next morning Justin had some donut holes and smiles at the table... well rested little man!
Thank you Sean and Jen for all of your help this weekend.
Sean was our "pancake, waffle, and breakfast burritos man"!
Just hangin' out!
Eli and Sean... "what is she doing to us??"

oh, what a wonderful weekend!

Trying to walk!

Around 2pm, when most of the guests were gone, Eli tried to walk.
Here he is walking to me from his daddy... at one point, I think he walked about 5 steps! It will happen soon! Our little man will be running all over the house!

Wow!! What a party!!

Eli's birthday party turned out great! Here are pictures from Saturday!
Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated the day!

Uncle Jamie was quite proud of his nephew turning one!

The party was perfect.... many of our friends that we don't see very often came in to town. We had friends and family from Dallas, San Antonio, and Waco come in for Eli's big party!

Whitney and Steven came as well... Whitney was a super big help at gift time!

Thanks Whitney!

(by the way... the party was also hoppin' with 6 preggos!)

Whitney, me, Penny, Angie, Gretchen, and Jen... wow!
What a baby boom!

Can't imagine next years party and the baby attendance!

my buds... Chelette and Megan

Eli received so many gifts! Our house looks like Toys-R-Us! We love it! So much to explore and play with! Thank you, all! Eli is so excited with every toy!

Cousin Laurie from the Waco family bunch came... she even taught Eli how to flip on and off a light switch!

Aunt Dian was a great help with the food decision and planning... thank you!

Eli's great-grandfather, Pa, came in from Waco to celebrate.
Cousin Tatum, Eli, and Pa posed for a pic! When Eli was trying to eat his cake and goldfish, Jaden joined in to help.

The Stephenson family is getting ready to celebrate Jaden's 1st birthday as well. His party is this coming Sunday. Eli and Jaden are 2 days apart.... Chelette and I have been buds since 5th grade. We hope our boys grow up together and share the same friendship and bond we have.

Eli shared his cake with his Grams....

Maddie O came along to join in the celebration.

Jaden and Sidney had a grand 'ol time playing together at the party...another tot that celebrated her 1st birthday on Saturday! Happy Birthday, Sidney!

Eli received LOTS of love from the ladies....

Huddy Who in the jumperoo!!

Justin jumped for joy!

This is a pic of some of the kids at the party. I realized after several had left, that I needed to take a pic of all the kids. Right before gift opening time, I got all the kids that were still at the party in the living room.... it was quite a task! haha!
As I said in the previous post, we had at least 25 kids age 6 and under.... wow!!
Momma and Daddy with the Birthday Boy! Happy 1st Birthday, Eli! We love you!
Eli tearing into his cake!
Thank you again to everyone who came out and celebrated our little man's big day!
It was quite a party!

First Birthday

Eli had a BIG Dr. Seuss party complete with Green Eggs and Ham for breakfast!
On Saturday, we had about 25 kids that were 6 years of age and under, about 7 Elementary/Jr High kids, and about 45-50 adults join us for the celebration! WOW!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME! (and to those of you who cooked for us)
Our baby boy (I guess he is no longer a baby, huh?) is one spoiled and loved little man. He had a great time all day and even tried to walk later in the afternoon-- about 5 steps to Mommy!
Way to go, Eli!
Pictures will be posted soon... I promise! It took us a bit to recover from all of the festivities and now back to work.
Today is Eli's actual Birthday - Day! He is officially one now!
We are taking him to dinner at Hooters Restaurant with friends tonight. I know... what a "hoot"!
I will get some pics of him with all the ladies and get that posted too.
'til then.... THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE HIS FIRST BIRTHDAY A DAY TO REMEMBER!
Birthdays are very important to me... they celebrate that person's life and how much they mean to you and all those around. Eli has truly made a difference in my life. I never thought I could love someone who is so tiny... so much! Every night when I lay him in his bed to go to sleep, I start missing him already. I am always anxious to get myself dressed in the morning so I can run up and get him and smooch him. He has started the "crying fuss" when I drop him off at daycare. I think he knows how special he is to me and how much I love spending time with him. As all mothers/sons.... there is a special bond. I am his first love... and I love him even more for that....
Happy 1st Birthday, Eli James Moffitt! We all love you so very much. Have a great day!

Eli has some BIG news!!

Eli will join the "Big Brother" club this coming Spring!

Here is an ultrasound picture from this weeks appointment.
I am 12 weeks preggo and due date is April 10th, 2010.

best of buds....

After our zoo outing, the boys went upstairs to the playroom. Eli and Hudson were so fun to watch. Eli would show Hudson how he plays with a toy, then Hudson would show Eli. They loved learning from each other. Gretchen and Jason have raised quite a sweet boy. Hudson will be a wonderful big brother to Baby London. He was very kind to Eli and tried to teach him things. Gretchen and I were full of "oh how sweet" and "awe's".
