Germs, Germs, Germs!

Well, it seems that Eli is a magnet for whatever sickness is roaming the streets these days! He started the school year with croup, which turned into an infection in one of his lungs and an ear infection. Now after 10 days of antibiotics for that, he has a tummy virus that was going around at daycare. Two of my coworkers have little girls at daycare (one is in the one year old room, the other in the two year olds) and both girls were sick Friday with the bug. Daycare said 9 kids went home sick Friday. I was hoping that Eli would skip this one, but his immune system had different plans. Eli took a couple of long naps yesterday. Around 6pm, Jeramy went to wake him since his nap was going on hour 3. He had a nasty stinky diaper and then 10 minutes later, he threw up all over me. Oh the joys of mommyhood!! He is drinking pedialite and acting fine... other than the 2 more times of throwing up. I told him that he is 2 for 3 on getting it all over Mommy and asked when is it Daddys turn!?!

Keep Eli in your thoughts ....that this goes away soon (by Tuesday!) and neither Jer nor I will get it! We are very thankful for a long weekend and his timing! The first week of school was a hodge-podge of who stayed home to watch Eli... Daddy, Grams, and Peggy....
