Petit Jean State Park was amazing. We had many outdoor adventures and were pooped by the end of the day. We hiked and explored as much as possible.
Here is Eli at the end of our day at Petit Jean

We explored the rocks and terrain at Bear Cave

Look closely... you will see Eli and Jer

The Moffitt boys pretended to be a superhero and hold up this big rock

zoomed in.... what "strong" boys

heading to the car at the end of an exploration...

checking out a cave....

We climbed all over Turtle Rocks.
(called that because the rock formations look like turtle shells)

Daddy and Eli getting too close to the edge!

They pretended to rock climb!

Eli loving these moments with Daddy

We hike the trail down the mountain to the waterfall and Eli fell asleep.

He is out cold!

The waterfall was well worth the hot and humid hike... so pretty!

I know I posted a lot of pics here... but this was one of our favorite places....enjoy!

This pic was taken at the first of the hike and Eli looked back at me like "Mom, are you really going to let him take me down this trail?!" I was worried/nervous but all turned out well.

view from the lodge...

outside our cabin ready for the adventure
The boys in the living room of the cabin. We loved the cabin-- very nice and clean!
